PRODUCT HISTORY:

Champion patented their Reverse Weave fabric in 1938 and finalized it in 1952, and by so doing revolutionized the athletic goods industry. At the time, sports coaches were eager for a quality sportswear fabric that wouldn’t shrink or break down when washed heavily in large quantities, like after practice or sporting events. Champion’s answer was their Reverse Weave, a horizontal knitting technique which both minimized shrinkage and made garments more durable. Put simply, this is legitimately one of the best sweatshirts you can get.
