Significance: Mosquitoes are notoriously common and aggressive on Fire Island, particularly at dawn and dusk. The inland salt marshes created when the waves breach the beach are an ideal breeding ground for them to spread. We found this shirt to be a very funny and legitimately accurate way to represent the island.
