Significance: The Antique & Classic Boat Society was founded in 1975 and is an organization dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of classic boats. ACBS Chapters organize more than 100 classic boat shows throughout North America every year, with this 1993 event having taken place in Greenport, NY, one of our favorite spots on Long Island's east end.
As an ACBS member and master mechanic, my dad has done a number of high-profile restorations on boats featured in their shows over the years, and his interest and work in classic boating remain a pillar behind the OLD SOLDIER brand.
