Frank Mundus Monster Man Tee

Significance: Frank Mundus was a prominent captain and sportfisherman out of Montauk, NY, credited with pioneering "monster fishing" for giant sharks. He began operating his vessel Cricket II in 1951 for "thrill seeking" tourists, and in 1986 reeled in a 3,427-pound great white shark, a record. His personality and experiences are credited as the real-life inspiration for Quint in the book and film Jaws.
