Montauk Point Tee

Year: 1980s
Significance: Montauk Point is the easternmost point of Long Island, jutting out into ocean creating sweeping views of the Atlantic. The lighthouse was commissioned in 1792 under President George Washington and is the 4th oldest active lighthouse in the United States. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and in 2012 was designated a Historic Landmark for its significance to the state of New York and international shipping.
As a brand we are heavily influenced by "souvenir" tees, of which this a classic graphic example.
